Good News

Silence screams, and the evil mind convenes

From a hollow heart that’s sung it’s last refrain

And the rising sun, that gives hope to everyone,

Only sets to another night of frozen rain

Good news…my friends  A Saviour has come to bring us a new beginning, without end

Headlines and airwaves won’t mention a word he sends

But good news……..my friends

Early in the morning, you may hear a distant warning

Of a losing proposition close at hand

And your heartbeat drags along, with hope that’s come and gone

Like a soldier who’s sinking in the sand

Good news…my friends  A Saviour has come to bring us a new beginning, without end

Headlines and airwaves won’t mention a word he sends

But good news……..my friends

Don’t give up….don’t give up….your pain is surely meant to fade

Don’t give up…don’t give up…a telegram for you is on it’s way

Good news…my friends  A Saviour has come to bring us a new beginning, without end

Headlines and airwaves won’t mention a word he sends

No, headlines and airwaves won’t mention a word he sends…..

But good news……..my friends
