The Way

Teachers say we’re gonna learn as much as we need

While the doctors tell us we can live as long as we want

I don’t want to be in a world where the grass aint green, for me

Whatever you do don’t turn that money maker off

Well the first time that I believed in you, it was broken

But I always saw your face among the crowd

Tell me how do you stand the weight upon your shoulders?

Trust in me and grace will seek you out

I am the way, the truth and the life

I am the reason for the reason.  The love that holds the light

I am the way

When they rolled away the stone, it made him sacred

Then she heard his voice again with great relief

But the words that rang so true from the son of the maker

‘Blessed are they that did not see, and yet believed”

I am the way, the truth and the life

I am the reason for the reason.  The love that holds the light

I am the way

Golden dreams, will be meager

If you find your way, back to the start….you’ve got it all

I don’t want to be in a world where the grass aint green, for me

Whatever you do don’t turn that money maker off

I am the way, the truth and the life

I am the reason for the reason.  The love that holds the light

I am the way, the truth and the life

I am the way, the truth and the life
