Then I See Jesus

What if I found out, that I’m on the wrong side now, and my needs…they start slipping away

What if I move too fast, or walk too slow, will my feet still take me where I need to stand

And tell me now, how will I know? Who will I meet to show me around?

I hear we have a friend, indeed. But wasn’t that a long time ago?

And the devil seems to be the only friend in town

Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus

Coming around the bend.  Then I see Jesus, It’s gotta be Jesus

Cause only Jesus, can help us tie the ends

I want to listen to the wind, to see if it would let me know

And then I ask my friends, there must be somewhere I can go

I even sold my soul, to all the wealth and avarice

And when I go out in the cold, to look for all the things I missed

Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus

Coming around the bend.  Then I see Jesus, It’s gotta be Jesus

Cause only Jesus, can help us tie the ends

Is it hard when you don’t know what side you’re gonna be on?  Tell me

Is it hard when you don’t know what side you’re gonna be on?

When it gets dark, you might have to feel your way down the hall.

Don’t you want to know where the light is gonna be coming from?

Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus, Then I see Jesus

Coming around the bend.  Then I see Jesus, It’s gotta be Jesus

Cause only Jesus, can help us tie the ends
